Been waiting for an iPhone TCG...still waiting
Since its a touch interface, an iPhone TCG is a great idea; or any card style game really. But BattleSpell falls...short. Aside from the crappy translation (or god-awful writing...whichever), the system is a bit too simplistic; there is no clear definition when certain effects take place, the one card per turn style is just too slow and doesnt allow for a lot of creativity, the interface is a bit cluttered, and there is simply too much reliance on the resources with no real way to control whether or not you have resources.
This could be a good game if time was taken to clean up the issues and make the system usable. As it stands, its entertaining as a proof of concept for an iPhone TCG, but nothing more.
